Road safety cameras at the intersection of Nepean Highway and Davey Street in Frankston will recommence enforcing the speed limit of 40 km/h.

Drivers are responsible for travelling within the indicated speed limit. Be mindful of speed limit signs when travelling through the area.

Victoria’s road safety camera program plays a critical role in changing driver behaviour and saving lives.

Road safety cameras have proven to be one of the most effective ways to get motorists to slow down and, ultimately, save lives. Research by the Monash University Accident Research Centre shows a 47 per cent reduction in casualty crashes on stretches of road where fixed speed and red-light cameras are installed.
